COVER REVEAL- Lesser Evils by Christi Goddard

When young Jakorus is hurled twenty years into his future, he's confronted with a horrifying truth—the world has changed for the worse, and it's his fault.
Now in the twenty-first century, the hidden island of Cybraxas teeters at the brink of civil war. Paranormals of all races have secretly coexisted with humans for centuries, but the illusion of peace crumbles when a rebellious faction fights to overturn their primary law: humans are not food. They assert the human herd needs thinning if the planet is to endure.
In his youth, an angry and embittered Jakorus believed in the rebellion's rhetoric and joined its ranks. Repentant of his sins when he is older, a young Jakorus sent from the past seemed the perfect solution to fix his mistakes. But each Jakorus trapped in this time loop only makes things more perilous. In order to restore the original timeline, the newest Jakorus learns he must murder innocents, betray friends, and repeat the same immoral choices the original Jakorus made. If he fails, the rebellion will blossom into civil war.
But through it all, Jakorus has his own problem—both he and his future self are in love with the same girl.

The Chronicles of Fire and Ice.- Blog Tour- Day #18

Synopsis:
Is love stronger than race?

The world is changeing as we know it, the human race is dwindling, but so are the angels. In order to preserve their bloodlines they have bred with humans, creating a new race called Nephilim. But there is one race that is more endangered than humans or Seraphim, Archangels.
As most people believe the Archangels have become extinct, rumours surface of a Legend; that a baby was born out of flame, the offspring of an archangel.

Dyston Blackbell is tasked to find and protect this child. He sends her strange dreams in hope that she will find him. When he discovers that she has enrolled at his family’s angel academy in Melbourne, he will do anything to protect Scarlett. But when he finds himself falling for her the Heavenly realm rejects him.

But 21-year-old Scarlett Porter realises that being half Archangel has some advantages. She has developed a unique trait, one that marks her as an Archangel. Will she keep it to herself or use it to fight back?

When an old enemy resurfaces, The Lucifites, Scarlett discovers that Dyston’s older brother Lakyn is at the helm of their sinister plans; to destroy the Nephilim race or use Scarlett for their own selfish purposes when they find out who she really is.

And when Lakyn discovers that Scarlett had only seduced him to rescue Dyston from his prison in the Realm of Light, it sends him on a journey of self-discovery and destruction. One that sees him venturing farther off course than his father would like. Will he choose a new life of love or his old life of darkness?

REVIEW- Vulgar in Disguise by Megan J. Parker- From Natasha

My review of Vulgar in Disguise by Megan J. Parker

So, I received this book yesterday for review, and I just HAD to pick it up! I'm happy to say, I finished this in one sitting, but I'll admit, it is poetry, so it didn't take too long.
I liked the way Megan described the words, added details in which I felt..into it, like it was my own life, and how she kept it at a good pace. My favorite poems were: Web of Lies, Lunar Wolf, Ghostly Despair, Colors embrace, Shadows, Time Will Tell, Worry No more, My Battle, Taste of a Memory, and Poison Touch! I even listed basically all of them except like 2 or 3! I really think you should pick up this book right now! For $0.99 is not a bad deal for this poetry book! Buy it..now! I rate it a 4 stars!

About Megan J. Parker
Megan J. Parker lives in upstate New York in a small town that no one can spell or pronounce. She is normally found either hanging in her home with her fiancée, Nathan, and two evil cats that believe they are the kings of the house, or on campus at the local college sitting in the art rooms with her face plastered to the Mac-lab computers.
On her down time, she likes reading and designing new logos and videos. Her passion for telling stories is portrayed in all her work and when there's a story to tell, you can be sure she'll tell it to its full extent. She aspires to own her own design company and work in a studio where she can edit and write to her heart's content.

Q1.When did you start writing? And when did you become an author? I started writing in high school but didn't actually write my first book until December of 2011.

Q2. When was your first book released? This summer, in June.

Q3. Do you have more books that you have written? Yes! I have The Station Series - two books have been published, as well as an anthology piece in 'Once Upon A Twisted Time'.

Q4. When you were younger did you like to write? Of course!

Q5. Is there a certain thing you do before writing your books? I set up a music play list and make sure that I pick a spot out in my 5 subject notebook for where I am going to put my sticky notes. Eventually I transfer that stuff onto the computer, but the notebook makes the experience feel more organic.

Q6. How long did it take you to write a book? My first book took me four months. The second took about eight weeks, if memory serves me right, but it was only 40,000 words long. All of my work has been different lengths so I guess there is no average - yet.

Q7.How many books have you read? And did you like to read when you were younger? There is no way I could even attempt to answer this question without my brain exploding! I have gone through phases in my life - the cheesy romance book phase, the horror phase, the action/suspense phase, the young adult phase...and basically I will read everything I can get my hands on in each of those phases. LOL I have always enjoyed reading - even in school.

Q8.Do you have another author or person or even place who/that gives you inspiration? My children are my inspiration, but aside from them, yes I do have other writer friends who help me along the way. I think that any writer needs a support system - if not, you will get overwhelmed rather quickly. I could not have done as much this year if I didn't have some great women around me!

Q9. Do you write everyday? On average - yes. I have not written much over the last week, as I had a new release coming out and it takes a lot of time to focus on making the launch go off without a hitch! I look forward to getting back into my writing routine so that I can pick up where I left off at. Normally I get 1,500-2,500 words in at a time.

Q10. How did you get your book published? I am an Indie Author/Indie Publisher. I do it all myself - but at the same time - I am not alone. I have a wonderful friend that has helped me with my book covers, since I am not a designer or media person. I have had help with editing and Beta Readers and criticism all across the board. I created my own publishing name, and I do that part on my own. It's exciting, but at the same time a bit scary - the success or failure of my books rides solely on MY shoulders. I respect that. It keeps me grounded and pushing forward.

Thanks for having me today, and for the opportunity to interview with you! - Trish
And thank you for having me! ~Natasha
